Robinho Revolts!

Robinho has begun a revolt at the club after being repeatedly denied a requested transfer to Chelsea. According to Spanish daily Marca, the 24 year old has retaliated by ditching a press conference that he was supposed to attend on Friday and worse still, he has refused to travel with the squad to Valencia for the first leg of the Supercopa on Sunday.

This comes just 24 hours after president Ramón Calderón personally rejected the Brazilian’s plea to leave for Stamford Bridge when the pair met face to face and the former Santos man was told that there is absolutely no chance of him exiting the Bernabéu. Those remarks appear to have broken the camel’s back, thus, forcing Robinho to resort to these extreme measures to have his voice heard.
The reports coming out of Spain are now suggesting that Madrid will only let go of their wing wizard if Blues chief executive, Peter Kenyon can make an improved bid of at least €40 million. KS Leong
