Inter: Lampard Told Us He Wants To Quit Chelsea

Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard, 30, who has failed to agree a new deal with the Blues despite 12 months’ worth of on-off contract negotiations, seems determined to leave despite the club’s wish to retain his services for the remaining year of his current contract.
Inter president Massimo Moratti said on Friday: "For the acquisition of Lampard we need to have patience. We have the player's approval but we have to respect Chelsea's rights. His club have every right to keep him."
Meanwhile Chelsea’s new £8million signing from Barcelona, Deco, wants Lampard to remain at Stamford Bridge.
He believes Lampard can help the Blues achieve Champions League glory at last.
“Frank is a fantastic player that I have played against many times,” he said.
"I have also seen him in training and he is a delight to watch because he works very hard, he has a first-class attitude and I am looking forward to playing with him.
"Of course I can play with him and I want to play with him. I am not sure he will stay but it would be great if he did so that we can all play together."
However, Inter manager and former Blues’ boss Jose Mourinho has said he will wait until the very last day of the transfer window (August 31st) to try and prise Lampard away from Chelsea.
The London club are due leave with new manager Luiz Felipe Scolari for their pre-season tour of China, Malaysia and Russia tomorrow, and presumably Lampard is expected to be among the party.
